I have a Dell Dimensions 2400 desktop running XP Home Edition. I recently loaned it to a friend until he could get his PC fixed. I set the computer up for him on his network and even used the DVD-ROM drive to install the network printer software. The DVD-ROM read and installed the software on the disc just fine so I did not think anything about the 2 drives. Yesterday he tried to play a new music CD in both bays and got the message to please insert a disc into the drive. The CD does play just fine in his vehicles cd player so I know that there is nothing wrong with the CD. Thanks in advance for any assistance that you may give me. Paul
