Yesterday (thursday 08-10-04)my DVD-ROM drive stopped letting me copy files from a dics to my hard drive. The drive still reads discs and burns files to discs. But when i select a file on the disc to copied to the hard drive the desktop resets its self. I've never seen this before, can anybody help.
When you say the desktop resets itself you mean what? That the computer restarts or just that all the icons on the desktop refresh?
