    I would like to buy a DVD-ROM.Can you guy's suggest a good company and where can I get best deal?.

    Samsung DVD-ROM drives are excellent! So are their cd writers.

    Basically I would like to copy DVD's.So DVD-ROM is enough or do I need to by DVD-RW?.I already have CD-RW.

    There is some work involved in copying dvd's. You can't copy from one straight to the other or anything likw it! You can copy to vcd/svcd/divx & more with a dvd-rom and a cd-rw drive. To copy to dvd-r requires a dvd rw drive. http://www.afterdawn.com/dvd/
