DVD+RW stopped reading things

Didn't mean to imply you meant otherwise, just was pissed about the HP drive and didn't want anyone else burned.

And just for Lite-on's sake...my new drive is burning it's 6th dvd already. I'd send the HP in for repair (still under warranty) but hell, ~40 bucks for the 1693s at newegg.com, isn't worth the hassle.

and i know just how you feel. this is my 3rd drive that burns out in 3.5 years. im hunting for one as we speak. i wish thee things lasted a little longer!
