dvd santa question

hey guys sorry if this is in the wrong section. i have an avi file and trying to encode with dvd santa after inserting the file and then create dvd i get an error message saying this program needs to close and then it restarts. any ideas thanks

 

If the encoding went well, you can always try burn with another program (e.g. Nero).

 

hey thanks for the reply dvd santa wont even let me encode it.as soon as i start the encoding process it says dvd santa encountered a problem and needs to close. but i tried another avi file and it encoded it maybe its just the movie but i really want to see and also tried it in tmpgenc express and it shuts that down also and suggestions.

 

If the avi is error free, you may try change the codec of it with e.g. Power Video Converter or X Video Converter (try set video to xvid and audio to mpeg layer 3).

No, after changing the codec, you still need to convert the avi into dvd compliant format, then burn with e.g. Nero as standard dvd.
