I anm new to copying dvds and my copys are jumpy when i play then in my dvd plater. I have a sony DRU-710a burner (dvd+-/rw/+-r/cd) and have been using dvd shrink. I am using dvd+r discs. I have even tried to reaurhor the dvd so that shrink does not do any compression. What am I doing wrong?

    What disks are you using.
Cheaper media Tends to have problems.
DVD DECRYPTER---->DVD shrink always work for me
    perfect 99% of the time.
(re2 and the little black book are my 2 exceptions)
Also you might have better results if you switch the booktype
To dvd-rom when burning.(Higher compatibility rates)

You may want to defrag your hard drive more often, especially if you are backing up a lot of movies. Burning at slower speeds will help. Also, you may want to turn off any background programs that may be running while you are using shrink. It is also a good idea not to use the computer when you are running shrink.

These sugestions along with Jizmak's about media will make it so you're less likely to get hiccups on your backups. Good luck
