DVD Shrink - "Cyclic Redundancy Check"

    I have noticed that when ripping relatively recent movies, like "The Golden Compass" (2007) or "Silk" (2008), DVD Shrink (with encryption removed using ANYDVD)will not work and gives the following eror message:

    "DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.

    Failed to read file “E:\”

    Data error (cyclic redundancy check)."

    I just tried using Clone DVD and it was able to rip the DVD "The Golden Compass" with no problem.

    Why does DVD Shrink seem to have this challenge with more recent movies?

    There are subroutines buried in the movie that Anydvd does not recognize that then disables shrink.
    Try my method

    Anydvd (latest) and ripit4me (uses dvd decrypter and shrink)
