I am using DVD Shrink to copy movies and during the analysis step I keep getting and error

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue
    failed to read file "I:\"
    data error (cyclic redundancy check)

Does this mean that DVD Shrink has a problem or is it my DVD player going bad?

Unfortunately you have a damaged disc - it may look fine but Shrink is unable to read a particular segment. Does this happen with all discs or just with the one?

Uninstall DVD Shrink and reinstall it making sure you have the latest release. Try again.
