Dvd Shrink Error

    Im Trying to make a back up copy of the punisher movie when i try to shrink it i get a error at 2% saying "dvd shrink encountered a problem and cannot continue" "Programming Error-execption occured" "THe parameter is incorrect" i need some help with this

    Try ripping with DVD Decrypter first to remove the protection, then compress with Shrink and burn with Decrypter, Nero or other favorite application.

    P.S. Have patience my friend. "These people" are here on their own time and don't "work" for you are anyone else on this board.

    Do what bilbo65 stated but make sure it is the newest version. No one on this forum is paid including the Mods so everyone here is a Volunteer. Approx 2 hours is not bad

    Decrypter is 3.5.2.0
    DvdShrink is 3.2.0.15

    if there is anything newer post link up here pls. if there is do i uninstall the old and install the new or is there a different way

    The updates will install over to older ones.

    Yeah, I have the same problem with shrink so I try decrypter instead. If you have the latest decrypter version, it should work fine. Just rip it to your hard drive with decrypter and burn it from your hard drive to dvd then. Also if you have other problems with shrink, this is a good link to look at
