    Hi all,

I'm new to burning backups of DVD's. I've been trying for 2 days to back up my new movie I just bought. I used DVD Shrink 3.1, DVD Decrypter and Nero. It burns alright but when I try to play it, the movie will show about 2 seconds and then freeze and start again and continue freezing ever 2 or 3 seconds, the whole movie through.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Also, I'm using WinXP if it matters

Use shrink and decrypter or shrink and nero. You don't need all 3 together. Would help to have more info and what you're doing exactly. Also what kind of media are u using. this forum pretty much agrees on Ritek G04's and Verbatim

Well, I'm using Maxell DVD-RW's for the burning and my burner is a Pacific Digital 8x. I've tried burning it a few times and it comes out the same way. It plays the previews alright but not the movie

Angel, it's up to you, i use to have problems til i switched to this media. Not one since. Trust me, what's good in audio don't necessarily hold true for video. I've used Sony,TDK,MAXELL, and Memorex. None of 'em hold a candle to Ritek and Verbatim, which this forum turned me onto. These guys know what they're talking about. [
