Dvd Stutter

    Hello,

    My roommate just bought a panasonic hdtv from craigslist and it seems to be great but when we play dvd's through it, there seems to be a stutter. The dvd player is plugged into the cable box and the signal goes into the tv through the cable connection. Is there any way to get rid of this stutter? Thanks!

    Hook the DVD player directly to the TV with the best connections available. S-Video would be OK, better would be component.

    Could this be a product of the progressive scan?
