I am using WinAvi to convert a several dvd video clips to avi format. The clips range from 5 to 10 minutes a piece. After conversion the finished avi files are over 200 megs in size. I want to make these clips available on the web but the file sizes are way to big. Is there anyway to get these down in size or a there a better way to convert them?
Depends "where" you want to make them available, some have MB size limit, some have length size limit. If it is MB size that you are concerned, should use a converter that has a setting for target size output(maybe WInavi has one, don't know). Do you want to put them up on a streaming site(like youtube, Facebook...), or a storage site, like RapidShare, MegaUpload...?
