What programs are being used to convert dvd to avi? Was looking for a fast efficient one.

Thanks.. I have been using dvdfab for the conversion. it seems to be on the slow side..
Autogk i see needs the files to be on the hd drive already.. which is an extra step.. Going to give it shot in a few for comparison...
maybe dvdfab is slow cause its doing it on the fly??
Have you used both of these apps?

I use DVDFab, and yes, doing it on the fly, decryption/ripping/converting will be slower.
