DVD writer not reading blank DVDs

    I have an HP DVD writer 100i. I can burn CDs fine, but when i put a blank DVD+RW, the default Windows software (the one i use to burn stuff), detects the disc but it says that has 0 MB of space available. I also tried using CloneCD, but it doesnt work either.

    Try updating the firmware.
