I bought a dvd x copy a few years ago and recently had to do a system restore on my computer. When I reinstalled the x copy and tried to re activate it, it came up with activatation failed(8) the server sent an invalid response. Can anyone help with this that you.

It's been more than a few years, since 3-2-1 Studios ceased operations in August of 2004. They were forced out of business. It's been a long time since you did a format C:.
I did reformate about two years ago, and someone at afterdawn helped me get the dvd x copy to work again. I was just hoping they could do it again.
It isn't worth getting it to work again. There are many free programs that do a lot better job than X Copy did.
