DVD X COPY Platinum

Can some one tell me what does it means when DVD X COPY platinum tells me "please check log file" and then tells me "can not write archive.txt" and "unable to create vob" ?? I was trying to backup a movie and it kept telling me these messages, and even when i used DVD X Rescue it said the same thing. Can someone tell me what is this?
