DVD2ONE Is this program legal?? The makers will say it's for making backup of DVD's that people own. Sure some Tom,Dick or Harry is going to spend £200 on a R/W buy disks, ink, and cases and then spend another £32 buying this program. Just to backup 6 or 7 DVD's he owns. I think the makers have aimed this program at the people who make backups to sell, but they would not admit that, And since it is very hard to prove what people are thinking,"intent", they will get away with it,. So on behalf of the film companies I have posted on many many forums as well as crack sites how to use the trial program to encode the whole movie, and we all know the power of WORLD WIDE WEB. I have also told them that they should pay for this program if they are going to backup DVD's that they own. I wonder how many will use the program without paying????????
corinadev: Are you slow or just slow reader? Program doesn't violate any laws, since it doesn't include DVD ripper (nor DVD burning app). You are violating copyrights by posting cracks/similiar, not the maker of this excellent little tool that does the same stuff that IFOEdit does for most of the people -- strips out unwanted stuff that prevent the movie from fitting to one DVD-/+R/W.
I am sure the film companies will be very grateful for your help in their hour of need. I am also sure that DVD2ONE will be grateful for the tip off, as he subscribes to this thread and is probably, at this very moment, making sure your cheat will not get much further. Paul.
I have not tampered with the program, only looked at it.So I have done nothing wrong, just like the program makers, but he is welcome to take me to court, but I doubt if he will. after all I have not posted a crack or any program to by pass the trial time, just a simple user guide.
As stated by some other people, our software is perfectly legal. It does NOT break encryption and does NOT burn. The user is at all time responsible for his own actions, and if he is making copies of disc to sell he's doing the illegal activities not us! It's just the same as for example MP3, you can compress your own discs for use in your car, walkman whatever. You just legally may NOT spread your mp3's or give/sell them to your friends. I can image for example parents who have little kids are using DVD2one making backups for the kids so they can protect their expensive Disney DVD from being used a toy by the kids!. Just a little sidenote, indeed our payment server is backup from this moment! To everyone who waited patiently to buy their official license THANKS for your support and patience! We really apriciate you for supporting our efforts!
DVD2ONE I commend your honesty,I am sure the development of this program has nothing to do with the increase in the sale of DVD/RW ,the price drop in disks and the increase in pirate copies of DVD'S. I AM SURE YOU DID NOT JUMP ON THE BAND WAGON. If a man loads a gun, passes it to another man who shots some poor guy, who has committed the illegal act, Not the guy who passed the gun, because he claims he did not know what the other man was going to do
I would like eveyone to know I did not write this program that honour belongs to DVD2ONE But I would like to let people know,I will send the user guide to all who have asked, please be Patient my email is a little backup at the moment
Passing on Crackz is a violation of forum rules. I am sure you will be dealt with accordingly when dRD see's your post. I would edit it myself, but I think dRD would like to handle this himself.
I was having problems with my disks skipping on my Sony player. I bought the full version, and all works great! THANKS!
Given that your work around to use the trial to encode the whole movie has more steps in it than using the freeware Ifoedit (in fact it has more steps than re-encoding the whole movie by hand) I really don't think you are offering much. Also given that the full version is freely available on the web, you are in fact offering nothing. Get off your high horse before you fall and hurt yourself
I have had to close a couple of ol' Trev's posts myself. Hmmm, the dorkage is strong in this one, Luke. He thinks he has a crack, but really it is a pointless and long workaround. DVD2ONE know what it is now and I'm sure are working to close that loophole. As for Coriandev / Trevor, please do not breed. Paul.
DVD2One, I got yur program and I love it thanks a lot I was just curious.. how long did iit take you to make DVD2One?
loaded, Pleased to see that "corinadev" is now in the "inactive" status. This application deserves a proper review, and, at the cost, well, what can one say ? Give it a try. HomerJ
DVD2ONE - just curious, if I rip an episodic disk (multiple shows, such as MASH or BUFFY) will DVD2ONE allow me to select more than one file to process. Thanks
DVD2ONE works pretty good, too bad you cannot select more then on segment on the disk. So my question is, after you rip two different segments from the disk, how do you go about combining the .vob and .ifo files so that you could just add another chapter to the end of the disk? Thanks, Jim
I think that dvd2one is probably, if not the best investment that can be made for the average novice who just wants a 1-disc copy of a dvd-movie with perfect sound quality and absolutely near-perfect video quality. I am amazed at how difficult it is to tell the reencoded video from the original! The only thing I have had an issue with is that all my copies seem to freeze upon the start of the second-to-last chapter in my standalone player. It plays perfectly in my pc. Has anyone else experienced this issue? The last 2 chapters are not playable in standalone players? I am using a P4 2.0, 512DDR, Pioneer DVR-104 drive and Memorex DVD-RW media. Used both the new Nero 5.5.10.7 and RNM, both with same result. (I have not yet burned to DVD-R as I am afraid of waisting a disc that will not play those last 2 chapters in my standalone.)
I have experienced similar problems, so i am trying RecordNow Max burning software to see if it makes a difference. If not then i shall change my media. If it still has this problem then i shall put it down to DVD2one or possibly my Pioneer AO4 writer
