I have only one DVD/CD drive in my pc. I use dvd43 and copy the grudge and that works great, but when I take the DVD out and put in my DVD-R the green smiley face in my tray turns grey and it won't copy the DVD. Do I have to have two drives to use DVD43? It seems to lose the decryption when I put in my blank DVD.

If that doesn't work try AnyDVD. It works in the background like DVD43 but it is updated on a regular basis for registered owners. It has a free 21 day fully functional trial period and then you can buy it for $39(well worth it).

DVD43 only handles the region code and copy protection problems. What burning program are you using?

The face goes grey usually when the Patin Couffin drivers have been uninstalled, or are not present. The latest free version does not need them. Which version have you got?

I tried using ICOPYDVDs2 and DVD XCOPY Platinum. I have the latest version of DVD43, I just downloaded it.

So does it now work? If not, try Shrink and Decrypter.
