After recently installing my new motherboard, DVD43 had stopped working. Downloaded CCcleaner to fix reg errors and several other troubleshooting methods I read about around the internets. Still getting error message: "Driver inactive or not installed properly. please re install" I also tried installing Patin-Couffin but to no avail. Any suggestions? Hi, everyone here at AD tells me that dvd43 is horrible. Here's something more reliable you might like to try Jo From 1bonehead 1) decrypt to HDD with dvdfab HD (free version) Or use paid for version 2) process files (all) with fixvts 3) shrink files with dvd shrink, output as iso/image to HDD 4) burn iso/image file with IMgburn all programs are free Imgburn, free from http://www.imgburn.com fixvts, free from http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_...ools/fixvts.cfm dvdfabHD free from http://www.dvdfab.com dvd shrink 3.2.0.15 http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm and a guide to use all the programs http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/494836
DVD43 conflicts with many other programs and on top of that usually cannot accomplish what it is intended to do. Definitely not worth the effort in my opinion. If you want to stick with freeware, go the route that Jo has suggested to you.
