dvd9 to dvd5 games

    do i have to creat an acl file and use dvd2xbox in order to delete the required files for the game to fit on a dvd5 disk or can i delete them manually after i've ftped all the files of the game,ninja gaiden.

    For one, you DON'T want to use DVD2XBOX if you plan on making a dvd backup. DVD2XBOX only extracts the game files to your XBOX, not your PC hdd.

    So the only option you have is to manually ftp the files over and delete some files (i'm not sure if Ninja Gaiden is Xbox Live Enabled or not) If it is, delete the xbox live files (downloader.xbe, update.xbe, dashupdate.xbe) and it should fit. If not, then there's nothing you can really do. You could buy a double layer disc and burn the files to that if your burner supports double layer burning.

    Some games have previews of other games on the disc and you can usually delete those files without any problems.
