    I have found that clonedvd is the best burning engine out there along with imgburn

    @zoso

    That's the only burning option(Clonedvd) I don't have on this pc. LOL and you are right about the conflict in software somewhere that came bundled and I haven't found what it is yet. AnyDVD works fine but don't try to burn anything with it enabled including Clone which won't close a disc at all w or w/o anydvd enabled.

    garmoon i would consider reformatting the hdd wipping it clean and install your own Windows XP OS

    @zoso

    It would void the warranty. Besides I've learned to get around the problem and can do the back ups faster. I rip with Anydvd and then open rip in recode and the encoding and analyzing are faster from the HDD. And can do FabPlat if I want one step. AnyDVD and clone work right with my external burner. No, this pc is set. I'm on the fourth incarnation of installing all my stuff over.

    Not sure about anyone else, but i'm kind of enjoying the preview feature as it's capabilities are being expanded.

    First off, thanks for the updated info & I'll download it after I get home.

    Secondly, that was a quick update from them.....2 days....whew. Not used to updating this quickly.

    Something I noticed with the 5.0.5.8 version last night. It wouldn't let me convert a movie to psp format. I went back to the 5.0.5.0 version, and I had no problem with the psp function then.
