Guys, I bought DVDfab Platinum back in Feb, and my computer crashed twice since then. I have a hard disc as well my key that was emailed to me. I reloaded it on my vista computer and everytime I try to open to it I get the following message.

"DVDfab_the ult dvd copying/converting/burning software! has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

I assumed this was a vista problem so I reloaded the program on my xp laptop and this time when I click on the dvd fab platinum 4 icon it does nothing. I don't know why this is happening.

Why won't it work on my computers? I emailed support there and they have yet to get back. has anyone else experienced this problem and is the software working for you guys?

You need new key to use DVDFab 5 if you registered old version, please get it for free:

Agreed. I've looked around and have yet to see how much the price is going up.

Going from dollars to euros. Therefore, $49.99 to 49.99 euros. At least on the price tag ( on product price at present).

Makes you wonder, if you purchase after May 8th, will you need to pay a yearly upgrade fee?

A pretty steep price increase. I just bought my copy of fab platinum on Sat 4/19 prior to price increase

 

I always wondered why did they offer a freebie when they had 2 killer pay for products? And their only competition was Slysoft/Anydvd/CloneDVD

 

well if theres any word the free version is going to be gone guys post it. I don't really need the Platinum version since i have clonedvd and CloneDVDmoblie BUT if the free version goes bye bye then i will want to buy dvdfab platinum for sure, if theres no word I'm not going to chance it and will buy before 5/08/08

 

Definately. If anyone hears whether or not the free version is going to stick around...POST IT!

It takes the dvdfab team about 24 hours to get a turn around response.

Then the next post says:

You get about two weeks from today, which means from now to May 8th, you can buy anytime to get free lifetime upgrades.

After May 8th, you will see the new price when it's the right time.
That's all that's known as of now.
