I record my highschool football games on a Sony miniDV. Using Sony's "Click to DVD"; I now have the games on dvd-r. I wish to make a football highlights disc. I have Pinnacle's Studio 8; but it will not let me capture from my dvd drive. I would like to be able to capture from my dvd drive, edited the plays I want, then copy to my dvd burner. Any suggestions as to steps/software needed. Thank you in advance!!
You'll need to convert the DVD contents back to a video file on your harddrive. Once on your harddrive you can use Pinnacle again to edit it. You can't change video inside a VOB file. I am trying to get a copy of Direct to DVD, so I can use it with my sony camcorder. Dies abyone have a copy I can get a hold of. Thanks in advanced.
