dvdr vs cdr

    i read at one of the tutorials at xbox-scene that to back up games, make boot disk, evo x disk, etc. that you can use cdr's or cdrws as long as tey are written slow. is there any truth to this?

    The speed is not really an issue. Its the media type and xbox drive compatability. Try burning a cdr with a thommy drive and you have got no chance of it reading. Your best bet is a cd-rw. This media type should be compatable with most xbox (if not all) drives. It will be slower off the cd compared to a dvd though.
