I was wondering if anyone would know why this is happening. For over a year now I have been using the same dvd's to burn onto...HP Dvd-R...I always used Dvd Decrytor and 1clickDVD...recently I downloaded AnyDVD and I am now using that. All of a sudden my dvd burner will not burn on the HP Dvd-R..it keeps saying to insert a rewritable DVD. Why would all of sudden this happen...Does using AnyDVD cause certain DVD disks not to be used??

By the way I tried an experiment and went to burn using DVD Decrytor and it still won't that the HP disks...Why would my burned all of a sudden stop burning on these disks...I am totally dumbounded!!!

Is this a new batch of discs you recently got? If so, it could be your writer needs a firmware update.

AnyDVD has nothing to do with the burn process.

I agree, a Firmware Updates sounds to be in order. If that dosent help, Try a disk from another batch.
