I cannot get either drives on my computer to play DVDs but cannot figure out why. I generally use Dell Media Experience to play them without a hitch but they won't take. It tells me that it is unable to detect my VCD. This has happened across several different DVDs that I could play previously and across two different drives, leading me to believe that it is a software issue.

I am also unable to play DVDs in Windows Media Player. Somebody please help!

if you were able to play them one day and then it won't play them any more you could do a system restore and back your system to the day before it quit playing the disks, hope that helps, good luck have a nice day
