DVD's won't play

    I have a phillips 8601 burner and use Record Now to burn my DVD's. They will only play on my computer and not on a regular home DVD player. This is driving me crazy and help would really be appreciated!

    See if you can switch the program from DVD to DVD-ROM.
    Meaning have the program burn to make it a DVD-ROM.

    better blank media ( Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim) and burning at a slower speed 4X should do it and booktyping to DVD-ROM if your using dvd+r media or try using dvd-r media
