hi all i need some help i just bought a dvd burner i have nero6 and all the movies that i download i have them saved on cd-r as data files but i want to put them on a dvd how do i do it please some one help me
How big are your data files and what format are they in.? Copy one to your hard drive! If the file is an avi you will need to convert it to an mpeg 2 compatible format before you burn it to disc.For this to work try looking at a program called divx to dvd. If you want to save some time put your CD in the ROM open it with windows explorer, right click on the file, and create a shortcut to the desktop. The VSO conversion tool will pick it up from there. Once converted to DVD it will place it in dvdx file in your, My Documents folder. happy burning gringle.
