I burned 20 backup DVD's of my collection onto DVD-R
using DVDx Copy Platnium and using simple. I only want the movie so it will fit on ONE DVD-r. But at the middle of the movies the picture would get really grainey.
So I try'd burning a movie using 2 DVD-R's and the picture was good the entire time. Using two DVD-Rs is a solution to my problem, but I dont want 2 use two DVD-R's.
Why would the picture be so bad on the burned DVD-R when I still have extra space left? Someone please help!!

The easiest way to make sure that a movie only takes up one DVD is by doing the following:

Decrypt the movie using DVD Decrypter v3.1.9.0
which can be downloaded for free at:

    http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/

Next you need a copy of Pinnacle Instant Copy 8 so that you can use the Copy Main Movie Only feature of the software. You can purchase Instant Copy 8 at:

    http://www.thenerds.net/productpage.asp?un=184823&s=6

    for $24.15

I have used both programs to copy many, many DVD Movies and have had excellent results.

    grovesej,

Please enlighten me if you will, why are you recommending to someone to go out and PURCHASE a program when we have most excellent programs like DVDShrink that are extremely easy to use, do the same job and are FREE ??

I'd like to hear your reasonings -

    Pete
