hey,, i have the version of dvdx that you can download in this website... i want to compress a movie to about a gig. could you help me with the settings, the movie is fullscreen.
What's the size of the original file? To get a full size DVD down to 1GB you'll most likely nedd to use a different format such as DivX or (S)VCD. VOB's can only be compressed so far
well, if i rip it to divx..... then can i take it to dvdx? whats some good software (preferibly free) to rip it to a single divx? what settings will i then have to put dvdx on
My apologies, I was thinking of an entirely different app. From looking at the description of DVDX you have the right software to convert a DVD to DivX but unfortunately I'm not familiar with it so I can't help with settings. Sorry
