DVDxCopy Platinum Burn Problem

I just bought a dvdxcopy platinum from Ebay. I have read some other postings about their particular problem but the feedback doesn't seem to answer straight into my problem.
When I try to burn, it does Read the original movie and prompts for a blank DVD. Next,it appears to be Writing on the blank DVD. Next, it says Finalizing pls. wait and the small window is grayed out. I wait and I wait and then a Complete pops up. But when I watch on the burned DVD, nothing which tells me it didn't burn on it at all or is incomplete. I have a new Dell system that came with a Dell DVD burner. Was wondering if all those McAffee, Norton, Roxio Easy CD creator, etc etc that came preloaded with the Dell package is the reason why I haven't been successfully burning movies. Any pm feedback to solve my case will be Highly appreciated. Thx

DVD X Copy does not play well with other software. Review the following thread for possible software conflicts.
