Hey i got a new tv with a dvi input and my video card to my pc has a dvi out. but i can't figure out which one is which, i heard there were several different kinds of dvi. should i try to figure out which dvi? or should i just get component cables and a converter? would there be a difference in quality? thanks

    You have:

    DVI-I (digital + analog)
    DVI-D (digital)
    DVI-A (analog)

I'd take a fair guess at DVI-I. It'll probably say in your manual, I'd think.

The difference between DVI and component is so marginal, it makes so little difference in my opinion. Both are good!
