DVI to VGA help....

    Ok, here is my problem.

    I have a Westinghouse 19" monitor with VGA and DVI-D inputs.

    I want to connect my PC via VGA and my XBOX 360 via DVI-D. Me being the genius I am, I bought a DVI to VGA adapter, NOT noticing that it is a DVI-I to VGA adapter.

    So, my question is can I rip out those four little pins that make it DVI-I or will that affect it in another way? Since VGA is analog, would I HAVE TO have DVI-I?
