Trying to keep from making anymore expensive coasters. 2cd master/xp pro/nero5.35/512m/80gig hd/ fresh install except for bumbling firmware update that I believe is solved-it would not cetect any media, at least now it finds it. using the same cd-r i compile a small folder, sucessful burn. place same cd indifferent drive and it says it is empty. place same cd-r in dvr-105 again and it shows completely used w 0 bytes. reboot and using same cd-r the dvr-105 says it empty but this time I have numerous write errors with a bonified coaster. i do not understand aspi that much, there is wnaspi32.dll v4.6.0 in system folder and v2.0.1 in nero folder

Your ASPi is fine. Have you the hacked version RPC 1 of the firmware or the Pioneer version?
