I captured w/my PD 150 PAL, edited on Rex & transferred from Rex's timeline to DVDit PE & burnt onto DVR-A04 & the dissolves on the dvd look like watery pixelizations.

I checked the mini dvs & they look great on playback
Rex looks good on playback & I produced CDs & vhs tapes from the SAME timeline.

I had the SAME problem when a vendor tried to burn one & THAT'S the reason I PURCHASED the DVR-A04 & DVDitPE.

    Any advice?
    thanks,

are you letting DVDit encode the video from AVI to MPEG? Don't. Use a real encoder like CCE or TMPGEnc.

    watery pixilization on dissolves resolved:
my pioneer dvd player (one of first models)simply doesn't play back everything. I took my pioneer-burnt dvd to a stereo/tv store & saw my job BEAUTIFULLY up on a big screen!
thanks, I will, regardless, look at those encoders.
