Much of this forum seems to be media driven... dvd burning, cd burning, hd tv's, etc. etc. If there is enough interest I would like to suggest a DVR forum for those who wish to build a pc into a dvr to record their shows. I am currently interested in building one from an old pc, but I have questions and concerns. I will be doing a search of course, first. Stemin
Self-built PC-based DVRs / PVRs are actually considered to be HTPCs as well, even though they also have a "secondary" main purpose to record shows as well as play them. Thus, the most obvious place for this topic would be in our HTPC forum: http://forums.afterdawn.com/forum_view.cfm/100
