I would like to put the mp3 made from EAC into folders named from the Artist-CD title.

Just click EAC > EAC Options > Filename
It has built in listings that show you what is what.

Doesn't anyone remember how to use a simple DOS window?

Find the MSDOS icon on your hard disc and put a shortcut to it right up on your desktop. Click it.

Change to root directory. CD\ <enter>

    Make your folder. (Make Directory):

    MD "Beatles-Abbey Road" <enter>

The folder will read <BEATLE~1> on the left, with the full folder name on the right.

Dump all your mp3s into it, ie:

    copy c:\EACmp3sfolder\*.mp3 c:\beatle~1

    This is ancient, proven procedure.

    (Nobody uses DOS anymore. Pity).
