    Hello Guys!

I was curious if there's an easy program which convert a file from NTSC to PAL (23,97 to 25 fps). Now I've got some links, but here you have to use a lot of programs and for a newbie like me it's a hell...

So I hope some of you have got an idea for me how to convert into PAL format very easy....

    Thnx a lot!!!!

thnx for the reactions. My starting/source file is an avi.

I have no good experience with AVI2DVD....

I've seen this link, but they're only explaining PAL to NTSC....I want from NTSC 23,97 fps to PAL 25 fps. Is this also possible with that program?!?

I've heard that when you want to convert a file
into another framerate, you have to convert both the video framerate as the audio framerate and also the subs.....

Can the programs DivXtoDVD and AVI2DVD do this?!? Do I not still have problems with the picture after converting?

    Like I said:

i would try avi2dvd,with cce engine
there shouldnt be any problems, but avi2dvd is slow, depending on how many passes

and why cant you use dvixtodvd???
just load the file in and select "force PAL"

my choice would be to give vso's dvixtodvd a go

or you could try dvd santa (quick),i havent got this app' on my pc,but i'm sure it converts

    good luck

VSO DivxToDVD can do this, use my guide (the link in the sig) and change the aspect to "Force 4:3" and the Standard to "Force PAL 25 fps".

Audio and subs will be done along with the video.

Ok, I will try VSO DivXtoDVD. Only why do I have to change the aspect ratio into "Force 4:3"?

    Hi there,

VSO DivxToDVD will work very well on .AVI / .MPG / .WMV to convert PAL to NTSC or Vice Versa.

But it won't work with .VOB files (Already in DVD Format).
Either it won't let me load the file, or once it said it would take for ever (On an older build).

    Don't really remember the errors.

I had 1 DVD in PAL and used DVD Santa v4.0 and it did take a little while but the result was great (Main Movie Only).

    My 2 cents...

    Hi there,

Yes, I have purchased their Golden MemberShip !
It provides me a registration key for all their software (And future ones) for life !

I think VSO makes awsome software, and I use them all.

I am also a ßeta Tester for DivxToDVD v2.00 but also provide feedback on all other software, share my ideas etc... with VSO.

They have an awsome team, they accept and share our ideas if good or not and implement good ones !

All I can say is there's several of my ideas/feedback that's been implemented in DivxToDVD v1.99.13 and lots of more stuff to be added for v2.00 :)
