I recently purchased a gig stick of ram. Getting ready to install it I notice that it is ECC. My board is a SOYO SY-P4I 845PE Lite (845PE intel chipset) and it says it doesn't support ECC. Even though it says it doesn't support ECC ram, I have heard of numerous people getting ECC ram to work in a non ECC motherboard. I think it could be as simple as changing a thing or two in setup but I'm not sure. Your help would be greatly appreciated.....I'M GOIN INSANE HERE!

    Thanks

Read the whole manual, all it says is that it supports unbuffered pc2100/1600/2700 ddr sdram. Checked the website and found nothing either. Thanks for replying
