I had a shop take one of my home VHS movies and put it on DVD, I asked him to put chapters at certain sections, but he seems to have put them about 2-3 seconds from where I wanted it. What is the best way to rework the chapter points so that it's not in the middle of diologue, as they are now? Also, what is a recommended program for making a chapter screen and main menu?

If you look through the FAQ at the top of the forum you'll find a list of DVD authoring programs. Since chapter points are set during the authoring process you should be able do everything you want in 1 step.

Thanks for the reply. I new to this (this is my 1st project) and have been doing some reading since I posted and before you had a chance to reply. I've been playing with dvd-lab pro on a friends computer and had luck doing what I wished and a whole lot more including adding a title screen with video in the background and play or scene select buttons, and created a chapter list for my new chapter points. This is fun. He also has a mac, and said it's even easier with it. I'm a mac dummie, so I'll play with this a little longer, then try my had at the mac.
