editing in tmpeg to create whole files.

    i have a avi file which when i try to convert with avi2mpeg it says:


    "cant get frame #0 from the file"

    How do i create frame zero using tmpgenc.

    Don"t use "AVI2VCD" it sucks..Use Tmpgenc to encode to VCD....

    hey minion, so you keep telling me but i do get some good results with this program and it works rather well with tmpgenc dvd author. just curious though where in tmpgenc do i go to edit this file.Is it in mpeg tools.

    thanks for the " suck " comment i'll keep that in mind next time i use this program.

    AVI2VCD is Very Old and Very slow...I don"t even think the program has been updated since 2001...

    You can cut Mpeg files into Parts useing the "Merge & Cut" feature in the "mpeg tools" but be sure to cut on I frames or you will get Sync problems....

    Mpeg2VCR is a Much better Mpeg editor....
