i have a "sony handycam dcr-dvd805e". Using "picture package ver 1.8.1", i hav transfered the videos from the cam to the hard disk n they are stored as .mpg. Since pic package does not provide sufficient editing features i want to use "windows movie maker(latest)". I can import the video in Win movie maker but when i add it to the timeline i cannot preview it nor can i edit it. At the same time i can edit,add effects and preview other .mpg videos (not frm the camera ). Can two .mpg files be diff in any way? wht do i do to edit my handycam videos in movie maker? plz help..
the thing is that .mpg files be edited ( like the .mpg videos i hav downloaded frm the net ) but not those frm my handycam which r saved as .mpg on my hard disk.
