EMachine - Optical Drive

    I have a 2003 eMachine Model S2485. The Optical Drive will not eject the CD. it can read the one that is in there but won't eject. I have rebooted many times..The light on the drive will reboot at that time, but them goes out.. I can't find help in the owner manuel..

    Try looking for a very small hole in the face of the drive. If there is one, push a staightened paperclip into it and the tray should eject :)

    if your still having problems with your drive call EMachine @ 1-801-401-1419 and they should be able to send you a brand new one, giving its been within a year of having your pc since its only a one year manufacture warranty. make sure you have your serial number handy with you and you should have a new one the next day :)
