Emerson dual deck vcr dvd recorder ewr20v5

Has anyone had any problems with dvd's copied using the emerson ewr20v5 skipping or not playing on other dvd players? I have some home video's that I copied from vhs to dvd and have had two different people say that they will start to play but then start to skip and then freeze. I dubbed them in video mode and finalized the disks. I have had no problem playing them on another dvd player that I own. The only difference between the two that skip and freeze and mine is that on the ones not working I renamed the titles and did not rename them on mine. I can't believe that would be the problem but I don't know. If anyone else has had this problem or can give me some advice that would be greatly appreciated.

 

It depends dont use maxell and dont send it too the phone number on the unit because they will send it back worse and another thing its a piece of crap this unit.
