every time i try to encode with CCE SP i get the message that can't find codec for div3 but movie plays and encodes using others programs maybe i should use other program don't get good results with TMPGEnc my dvd player is apex 1200
it doesnt matter which way you encode it if your trying to make a vcd they quality is not gonna be the same as the divx or the original dvd
condor, do you have any codecs installed?? CCE SP looks mostly for the appropriate codec and that codec alone in most cases! If you dont have any codecs installed, get this one and see if it helps you http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/divx_3_codec.cfm dont forget to run the "run me first" file when you see it!
