OK i am trying to encode with tmpgenc and dvdsanta but as soon as it starts it crashs and windows tells me it needs to close the program and would i like to send a report. I believe the avi is the xvid codec. Is there anyway i can safely remove all codec and reinstall or any programs that fix conflict?

Please help as i cant encode anything at mo as most of my files are xvid =C

Your Xvid codec should have come with an installer. Be careful if it is Koepi's build or you really may remove all codecs (some of his installers remove all driver32 entries rather than just Xvid's).

Is the crash in xvidcore.dll though?
