After downloading a movie and being able to view it by using VLC player, the features allow to brighten or adjust the contrast of the movie. This makes a big difference in improving the original video quality were it can be too dark to see.

I always use ConvertXtoDVD software to encode and burn to DVD, however the software does not have additional features to brighten or improve the contrast of a recently released movie like the VLC player does.

Is there any other recommended encoding software that can tweak for brightness, contrast, etc?

    Thank you in advance.
