end of kryptview?

Still get freezing on the discovery channels, sometime get scrambled then back. Couldn't get sky sp 1 to 3 when I started watching at around 6pm. But it came back 10 min later. Is this what the sv users have been putting up with?

Also is there anyway someone could redirect the kv to another server by software or hardware change. Its just that a satellite shop claims they can get all channels back up and running for £10. I'm going to see him later this week to see if it can be done. I haven't heard about the kv box being run by anyone else other than the kv team. So obviously I'm doubtful.

 

dont be daft mate course they cant and chances are they will brick ya box. if you want to pay someone a tenna to feck your gear up then go ahead and post the reports back so we can all buy in to it if it works, which it wont so stay well clear

 

There is no way to do this as the firmware is closed source, secondly yes the SV users are putting up with this and worse for the last year, hopefully the krypt guys will get this sorted soon.

 

tell him if he does he will be a very wealthy man there is no way on this earth he will be able to anything with that box or even change it to a different server impossible m8

I have just Factory Default my box, and added new firmware, but still no SSPTS4 & SSPRTSNEWS, have i done it right, some info please anyone??? Have i to turn router off, ethernet plugs off, s/w update etc etc Help!

menu >>>> installation >>>> S/W UPDATE allow box time to reboot before touching anything

then factory default your box fully >> menu >> installation >> factory default >> 0000>>> ok

then when box reboots bottom option auto scan press ok then put your provider on top leave the next box set to NETWORK press GREEN button then leave it to scan a list of networks for you to choose your correct one

After you find you area id press ok and let the box scan MAKE sure you scan on DIRECT feed only then yur channels should come in after channels come in then you attach your ethernet cable from your router to your box

 

stop messing, no one has SSPTS4 & SSPRTSNEWS yet. be patient.

 

everyone in same boat fella. you got the update so your up to date. its whats been said since they went down its work in progress. only reason why your all moaning is coz we all had the kv 780 when it was fully implimented so you bought the box and servers were all on the go. since they pulled the plug they have to get it fully working again. and i bet they didnt do that overnight b4 you bought the box

 

The update was a software upgrade for your box "NOT" a channel file update

when the channels are back they will be back im sure they are working on them but you just cant pluck stuff out of tin air Sv where 8 weeks trying to get there stuff together and they are also still stuck on limited channels.

i have done all that but my box is still the same only got a few channel and keeps going off thats the channel not the box i done the sw update but is there any new firmware i got Kryptview_A750_03012011.bin at the mois this the right one? e45

 

what did it say in the post above your one ?? have a read

 

put the new firmware on your box via your remote control read back and you will see how to do it the new firmware is a box update nothing more but you need to do it or you will have a blank screen next week if you dont

 

Did you factory default the box after updating your firmware also that could now im not saying is but could be down to your set up check your cables etc and no splitters as this will degrade your signal
