new year is whatever day you count from.. I have xmas on 28th Feb and new year on 31st July.. As for "too serious".. I didn't bring up the "important things in life" so don't pick on me!! I want gossip.. whats the hot stuff?
i'm not soft as pie especially after oking the hospital to amputate my mother's leg above the knee due to flesh eating disease then for her to die from a massive heart attack a week & a half latter. i'm also not soft as pie after losing it with my step father who has stage 2 alzheimers & thumped him when he accused me of killing my mother.
ahhh.. it's easy to delete body parts when they belong to somebody else.. now if you had kept the leg and stuck it on the hood of your car .. now that's hard Not a great way to go, but as they say "shit happens" .. major surgery is often too much for oldsters.. I know losing my mother to something similar 10 years ago. (and I'm hard.. because I still crack jokes about it to this day) As for punching some old bloke with Alzheimers. (IMHO he deserved it). bet he doesn't remember it in a week My father had Alzheimers.. it was really odd watching this nasty old man who hated my guts with a vengeance turn into a sad lost pleasant geezer who always kept asking the nurses at the hospice when his biggest daughter was coming to visit. Regrets?.. would be nice to know when he died.. 99 or 2000.. Anyway.. happy stuff.. Endo.. I would have thought there would be kids to deal with by now and no more need to be begging.. or have you mucked it all up again ??
my mother would have been 69 2.5 months after she had died. my stepfather went for a walk 2 days after i lost it on him in the middle of the night & somebody picked him up just down the road from the house & dropped him off at the hospital. he told the hospital that nobody was home & i had committed suicide. i haven't seen him since june 9.
Probably for the best all things considered.. wouldn't want you ending up on a murder charge. Back to our invite beggar.. I have been doing my best to wriggle out of invites.. my xmas day is a private time I spend drinking and laughing with my hubby, not some time I go running about with all the plebs and hangers on desperately searching for a commercialized "good time"..
xmas day for me is drinking and eating a feast with the family and presents.we normally have about 10 or 15 for xmas dinner.we havnt even decided whos house were having it at this year.
Hey Endo, You're welcome here. Though I can't say we do the typical Xmas thing but it's fun I'm not a traditional type gal so my holiday tunes are more like hard rock with an unconventional Xmas. Though this year I may have to liven it up a bit - my son in law is deploying again to Afghanistan 12/26.
Thanks GrandpaBW!! From one vet to another (son-in-law) it means a lot! We started taking pictures 'per-holiday' tonight. Time just seems to slip by so fast - imho best to capture it as soon as you can. Now Endo have you found a Ema invite>
