    Just to add I would still ask for a refund and send one of the boxes back that way you got it for free, if they are selling clones advertised as genuine they deserve all they get, dont take any shit just DEMAND the refund and if they dont accept follow through the relevent procedures through eb@y enforcing you get a refund,

    Hi tolgirl - HiTeck, 100% agree with that course of action and hope that you do get the right result, - should have made clear in previous post the reason for what I said. There are a lot of Max V Black 2008 clones around, I myself was landed with one back in April (Obtained for someone else), it came in the new white packaging, it was an outrageous poor all round quality clone right down to the red paint on circuit board screws. Tried the usual course of action and had a lot of hassle, paypal well least said about them the better with the trouble I had, the seller dissapeared and ceased trading on fleabay (At least in the original name anyway) so I put it down to experience and kept hold of the box, decided to flash it anyway and did so with the Kuro 10/04/08 and later the 18/04/08 firmware and it is still going strong, funny thing about the damn thing is that it seems to update a little quicker than the original. Don't want to drag this on - just want to make clear my reasons as said (especially with the two for one situation) and not in any way to tread on anyones toes.     just like to thank everyone who helped me on this thread. it's working we flashed it with kuro 18 04 2008,although download failed something must have happened overnight coz it's great now. i'd also like to add i rang satandcable this morning and they couldn't have been more helpful.
